With the shuffle of the holiday season, it can be easy to forget the true meaning of the season: spending time with the ones you love and giving back. That’s why in 2012, GivingTuesday was created with a simple mission to inspire people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

For over 100 years, American Humane has been committed to helping ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of animals, whether that’s through our rescue efforts, conservation efforts, or contributions to our country’s heroic veteran K9’s. We have always prided ourselves on being the “first to serve.”
But we can’t do it alone.
Our life saving work through our “No Animals Were Harmed®” in Hollywood program, rapid rescue and response teams across the country, and widespread grants and awards to local shelters can’t be done without you and your generosity.
