Stormy Weather to Unload Snow in Washington and Oregon; Portions of Northwest Could Expect Travel Hazards

Residents traveling this weekend and until next week should take note of the weather update as it could cause travel hazards. As many prepared for the month of December, the stormy weather could persist until next week.

Furthermore, stormy weather could bring colder air resulting in chilly temperatures. According to AccuWeather’s latest weather update on November 26, 2022, it is expected that the storm could unload heavy snow.

The forecast added that residents in Seattle and Portland could see snowflakes. Winter lovers could feel that the 2022 winter is in the air as the temperature is now colder.

The report also said that mountain snow could be expected on the weekend. Mountain snow is expected in Buckingham, western Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Residents near mountainous areas and traveling to mountains should be careful.

AccuWeather’s outlook showed that snow and run showers could emerge from Friday until Sunday. The stormy weather could help make the temperatures cooler with gusty winds. However, the report noted that the storm could help improve the air quality.

Recently, portions of the Northwest suffered from nearly record-high temperatures and dry conditions.

Starting Friday, it is expected that rain and showers could emerge in Medford, Seattle, and Portland. Meanwhile, snow could unload in Spokane, Helena, Washington, northern Idaho, and northeastern Oregon.

The weather forecast also advised motorists to be careful with driving due to heavy snow and rain, causing travel hazards and poor road visibility.

Next week’s weather forecast

As November ends, wet snow can emerge in Northern Oregon and Washington starting Monday, which could persist until Tuesday.

Based on AccuWeather’s outlook from Monday to Tuesday showed that rain and snow could occur.

The forecast said the following:

• Snow could appear in Casper, Salt Lake City, and Grand Junction.
• Meanwhile, snow showers could emerge in Boise, Elko, and Phoenix.
• While some portions of the United States could expect snow, wet conditions due to rain could unload in San Diego, Los Angeles, Reno, and Reno. Meanwhile, the report said that rain and snow could show in Albuquerque.

Furthermore, recent weather forecast added that portions of the Northeast would expect snow and rain until the weekend. Unlike in the Northeast, heavy rain is expected in the Northwest.
